RCCG City of Grace, Peterborough, a multi-cultural church, is a Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide and a church plant of RCCG City of David, Cambridge.

Inaugurated on the 6th of May 2007 with 3 families at the Tyesdale Community Centre, South Bretton Peterborough, RCCG City of Grace accommodates people from all walks of life; a family oriented church having individuals from different backgrounds and ethnic groups. The church is at present located in its acquired property at 105 Wellington Street, Peterborough, PE1 5DU where lives are imparted to become better people. The art of worship at City of Grace is premised on the scriptural command to truly worship God and to love our neighbours as ourselves. The choir plays a significant role in every service both in singing and with the instruments of praise, lifting emotional burdens through spiritual music.

The AIM

The aim of the church stems from transforming lives through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fulfillment of destiny to contributing meaningfully to the well-being of the local community of which an interdenominational programme tagged "Showers of Golden Grace" is held monthly to pray for the City of Peterborough and the United Kingdom.
The church is well structured to cater for variety of needs- physical, psychological, social and most importantly spiritual and the like. The counselling unit among other units in the church offers a wide range of counselling services on the issues of drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, bitterness, emotional trauma and challenges as well as marital counselling. The head of the counselling unit is a professional counsellor and a trained developmental psychologist.

Services in Eastern European Languages

The Church runs two services on Sunday. The morning service takes care of the English language speakers while the Czech and Slovak speakers meet between 5pm and 8pm. The two services are however collapsed on Thanksgiving Sunday. We have plans to start Polish and Portuguese services in the nearest future.

All the units are managed by Assistant Pastors, Ordained Ministers, leaders and Heads of Departments who report to the Presiding Pastor.

RCCG Mission

We believe that God has called us to REACH our local communities, to EQUIP people for good works to and help them MAXIMISE life, and together as a body of Christ to ESTABLISH the purpose of God for our generation.

As part of the RCCG family, we believe strongly in the mission of the Church, which includes:

1. To make Heaven.
2. To take as many people as possible with us.
3. To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.

To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.

To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes driving distance in every city and town. We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the World is reached for Jesus Christ our Lord

God bless you
